Ha Ha Tonka State Park
One of the great attractions at the Lake of the Ozarks is Ha Ha Tonka State Park. This is a great place for families to visit and spend time together in nature. The park features sinkholes, caves, bluffs, a large natural bridge, and the 12th largest spring in Missouri. There are several trails and boardwalks through the park that provide gorgeous views of nature.
The highlight of Ha Ha Tonka State Park is the castle. This turn-of-the-century castle sits atop a bluff, providing incredible views of our beloved Lake. Pack a fun picnic with your special someone and enjoy this beautiful place for yourself!
There is a legend of an early 1800s Native American wedding that took place at this incredible site. The hallowed cave features large columns, draperies, soda straws, and mysterious old-time ladders. Bridal Cave also boasts the most onyx formations in any known cave or cavern. Schedule a tour with your friends and family to explore this amazing attraction!
Willmore Lodge & Bagnell Dam
Willmore Lodge is a historic location built in the 1930s by Union Electric. The beautiful building is now home to the Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, Lake of the Ozark’s Visitor’s Center, and Bagnell Dam History Museum. Admission to the museum is free! Enjoy the walking path, gazebo, and gardens for great photo opportunities. The picturesque view of the lake and the dam is hard to pass up!
